Air Stagnation at central Douglas County and nearby regions, an Air Stagnation Advisory is placed from 6:00 p.m. Thursday until 12:00 p.m. Monday.
Poor air quality is likely, according to National Weather Service forecasters. Smoke and other air pollutants will be trapped near the ground, where people breathe , due to Air Stagnattion circumstances.
Josephine and Jackson counties, as well as eastern Curry County, are included in the advisory area.
Air quality is expected to deteriorate over time, according to forecasters, especially in and around places with significant sources of air pollution. If safeguards are not taken, poor air quality is likely to create health difficulties for persons with respiratory disorders.
