Star Trek Picard Season Two, Return of Whoopi Goldberg


Next month, Star Trek: Picard returns for its second season, and now fans can get a first peek at Whoopi Goldberg's return as Guinan on the Paramount+ series. In 29 episodes of the 1987-94 sci-fi TV programme Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Whoopi Goldberg featured alongside Sir Patrick Stewart and the rest of the cast.


Patrik Stewart, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, Brent Spiner, and Evan Evagora feature in Star Trek: Picard, a sequel series. For season two, John de Lancie will reprise his role as Q on Star Trek: The Next Generation.


Paramount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS, today revealed the official trailer for season two of its hit original series STAR TREK: PICARD.

Season two of STAR TREK: PICARD will premiere on Thursday, March 3, exclusively for Paramount+ subscribers in the U.S. Following the premiere, new episodes of the 10-episode-long second season will drop weekly on Thursdays. In addition, the trailer unveils a first look at Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg, reprising her beloved role as Guinan from “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”


Season two of STAR TREK: PICARD follows the renowned Jean-Luc Picard and his crew on a daring and exhilarating new journey: back in time. Picard must recruit the help of old and new allies to tackle the dangers of 21st-century Earth in a frantic race against time to safeguard the galaxy's future – and face the ultimate test from one of his greatest adversaries.


Patrick Stewart reprises his legendary role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he performed for seven seasons on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," in STAR TREK: PICARD, which follows this iconic character into his next chapter of life.

CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment are collaborating on the series. Executive producers for season two include Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski, and Dylan Massin. Star Trek Season two's co-showrunners are Akiva Goldsman and Terry Matalas.


Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Jeri Ryan, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Orla Brady, Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, and Brent Spiner are among the cast members of STAR TREK: PICARD season two. Annie Wersching joins the cast this season, as well as special guests Whoopi Goldberg and John de Lancie."

Picard has already been renewed for a third season, with fresh episodes in the works. A date for the debut will be revealed at a later date.
